Found: Boston 16-Year-Old Not Seen For A Week: Police

Police announced that Jahkari Howard was found on Friday, Feb. 17, according to the Boston Police Department.

Police are seeking the public's help to locate a teen last seen leaving a relatives house a week before police announced his disappearance.

Jahkari Howard, of Dorchester, was last seen on Wednesday, Feb. 8 around 8:00 p.m. leaving a family member's house on Blue Hill Avenue, according to the Boston Police Department. He was reported missing to police on Friday, Feb. 10, and police announced his disappearance on Monday, Feb. 13.

He was last seen a blue sweatshirt with green Nike sweatpants and black Nike sneakers.

Police request that anyone with information about the missing teen contact 911 or detectives at (617) 343-4712. Those wishing to remain anonymous by calling the CrimeStoppers Tip Line AT 1-800 (494) -TIPS or by texting the word 'TIP' to CRIME (27463).
